Tziporah Becker was born in Lithuania in 1892 and came to Palestine during the Second Aliyah. She was one of the founders of Hashomer, a Jewish defense organization to safeguard the Jewish agricultural settlements in Palestine. She was also one of the founders of Moshav Beit Zeid in the Jezreel Valley and the wife of Alexander Zaid.

Tziporah fought for the advancement of equality between men and women in Palestine. She passed away in 1968 in Kiryat Tivon, Israel.
