In 1995, Shmarya and Lainie made a dream come true, and moved to Israel. For years, Shmarya had also quietly been searching around Jerusalem for a really good bagel like the ones he and Lainie enjoyed in Montreal all those years ago. After months of hard work, messy kitchens and taste tests, with a winning bagel recipe in hand, the Muffin Boutique was born.
