ROSH HASHANAH: RENEWAL
Rosh HaShanah, the beginning of the Jewish year, is a time for joy and celebration, and also a time for introspection, consideration of the year completed and the year to come, our Jewish identity and how we are connected to our people and the Jewish homeland – Israel.
A beautiful custom to honor the New Year is to celebrate with a simanim (symbols) seder. This Rosh HaShanah seder is all about making blessings and sweet wishes on special foods connected to the New Year.
Nothing says Rosh HaShanah like apples and honey. This delicious challah is the perfect addition to your High Holiday table.
