My First Memory Of Israel
By David Wiseman
My first memory of Israel is coming here as a 10 year old boy. After hearing so much about the Promised Land, the Land of Israel, it was a thrill to be here – from floating in the Dead Sea to walking through the Old City of Jerusalem.

To walk the land of the bible with my own two legs brought those stories that were thousands of years old, to life!

People have been waiting their whole lives to see the Kotel; many have not, but here I was as a 10 year old, able to see it, about to touch it.
I felt incredibly privileged and honored and that feeling has never gone away.
