I declare my commitment to the ideals of Israel's Declaration of Independence as set forth on May 14th, 1948 and accepted in international law and among the family of nations.
On May 14, 1948, Israel’s independence was declared and recognized by the international bodies of the world in accordance with international law.
We are facing a void in global understanding and respect for Israel’s rights, allowing for the spread of demonization and delegitimization of the country and the Jewish people.
Declare May 14 as Declaration Day - a recognized day of note on the Israeli and international calendars, for annual observance and to globally reinforce this historical truth.
